Biography
Carlos Cerdan is director of CSR and Sustainability area at RSM Spain.
He has more than 15 years of experience in the design and integral implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability in all types of companies and sectors.
He is a dynamic and proactive professional who likes big challenges.
Carlos believes that the holistic integration of CSR and sustainability (or aspects Environmental, Social and Governance) allows the companies to move towards a model of value creation with stakeholders by developing products and services with double impact;that is, economically viable in the short term and socially and environmentally viable in the medium and long term.
His experience and specialization in the field of CSR and sustainability focuses on strategic projects such as design and implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) plans; studies to detect trends and relevant aspects for companies (Materiality Studies), preparation and verification of Non-Financial Information reports, identification and contribution to the Sustainability Development Goals, carbon footprint calculations, evaluation of potential Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) contingencies associated with purchase-sale processes, climate-related financial disclosure reports in accordance with TFCD, reputational risk management and or ESG aspects management in the supply chain.
Its purpose is to contribute, through its experience and commitment, in the change of current models towards more sustainable models by integrating each of the stakeholders both within the organization and with which it relates.
He has a degree in Environmental Sciences and a master’s degree in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility and provides regulary training sessions in CSR and Sustainability for different organizations and companies.
