Biography
Cesar Parra is a Partner at RSM Spain where he heads the M&A Advisory Division. Mr. Parra advises mid-market clients primarily in the broad Food, Consumer & Retail sector including segments such as food/beverage, household/personal care products, leisure, restaurants, agribusiness, ingredients & consumer chemicals, grocery retailing, specialty distribution, etc. Whilst he specializes in the Food&Agri, he also looks after a wide range of other businesses within Healthcare, Life Sciences and animal health.
During more than 25 years, Mr. Parra has built a wealth of invaluable sector experience and expertise that he brings to every transaction with a wide understanding of the financial pressures, views on strategic opportunities and other major issues that FMCG are dealing with.
In his time in the industry, Mr. Parra has been actively involved in advising public companies, private companies and consumer-focused financial sponsors on a variety of sell-side, buy-side and corporate divestiture transactions across the consumer, retail and pharma industries. He has significant experience and expertise in advising private equity-backed businesses and understands the unique challenges and opportunities they face to grow through add-ons acquisitions.
Clients include a number of hospitality players and large food corporates including Emmi, Congalsa, FAES Farma, Chocolates Valor, RISI, ACESUR, Delaviuda, Gullón, amongst other.
Mr. Parra holds a Management Program in Agricultural Enterprises Management. He also earned a Masters in Corporate Finance and Financial Management and holds a B.Sc. in Economics. Additionally, Mr. Parra has done specialization courses in corporate finance, private equity and finance at prestigious universities.
