RSM employees from around the globe collaborate and innovate for RSM WORLD DAY 2017

Global event sees RSM in Spain celebrating with staff for a day of engaging activities.

On 19 September 2017, RSM, the sixth largest independent audit, tax and consulting network, celebrated its sixth annual RSM World Day, a global celebration of the network’s shared vision, values and purpose.

‘Innovation Through Collaboration’ was the theme of RSM World Day 2017 and RSM firms from around the globe came together to explore ways to create an environment within each firm that is conducive to innovation and staying relevant to existing clients, prospects, staff and the wider profession. September is also RSM’s global innovation month, where employees across the world are encouraged to look for opportunities to improve the way they work and how they service clients.

Through a wide variety of different activities staff in RSM firms across more than 70 countries united in colleague, client and charity events to celebrate RSM’s distinguishing beliefs of collaborative working, deep individual understanding, idea and insight sharing for the benefit of its clients.

RSM World Day 2017 follows a strong 12 months for RSM, as the network not only grew the number of firms but also its global fee income, reporting 7.6% for the year ending 31 December 2016. More than 70% of RSM firms reported growth.

Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International said: One of the best things about RSM World Day is seeing RSM employees around the world so engaged with the RSM brand and what makes us different. We are a people business first and foremost – they are our most valuable asset. I’m extremely proud of the work that our member firms and staff have undertaken for RSM World Day and encourage them to continue bringing forward their great ideas that make RSM such a unique global network.
